It's finally getting close to summer time! The weather is nice, the pollen is killing me, and there are only 27 days left of school. Wes and I have had fun this week doing summer things that we haven't been able to do in quite some time.
On Tuesday night, we went with John and Peter to the Furman/USC baseball game at the Drive stadium. I love going to games there. Furman actually played a good game against USC, considering how good USC is. We can't wait to go to a Drive game soon!
Yesterday after school, I had to pick Wes up at work because he had to turn his rental car in. I surprised him by asking him to ride with me to the shave ice hut. Going to the shave ice hut in Taylors is definitely my favorite summer activity. It has been there forever, and it is the last shave ice place that we can find in Greenville, even though there used to be one on every corner. We were so happy to finally get a shave ice. Wes got one of his favorites, Rock N Roll, and I got Red Raspberry. I had to start out with a reliable flavor, but I am going to try to branch out and taste lots of new flavors this year. Hopefully I will have many chances to try out new flavors this summer! Happy summer, shave ice hut!
