When I finally got to the beautiful house, we sat out on the porch and talked until it was time for everyone but me to eat dinner (meat lasagna). After dinner, we went ahead and completed our contribution to the gift shop - beautiful handmade notecards that Becky designed for us. Making those cards actually made me think that maybe I should start scrapbooking one day. Once we finished making the cards, we played a game called Girls Night Out. It's a really good way to get to know other girls. It was pretty funny to play.
Sarah and I are working so hard on the cards. The next morning, we went to the delicious Flat Rock Bakery for breakfast. I couldn't decide between all of the yummy sweet treats that they make. Since it was raining outside, all nine of us piled into a space that could probably hold five people. After breakfast, we had a devotional, and then I had to leave.
All of my sweet Circle friends.I left Bonclarken early because Wes and I planned on going to the Orange and White game. We ate lunch at my parents' house, and then everyone was worried that it would be too rainy. So no Orange and White game for me. We watched it on TV at my parents', and then left for Wes's football game. Dave and Becky rode with us to the game, and we found out on the way that the game was cancelled. The guys still wanted to play, so Becky and I watched them scrimmage for two hours. It was nice, though, because Becky and I got to talk for a long time.
The best part of the weekend was when all of us went to Blue Ridge. I was at dinner with all of my favorite people! John, Peter, Dave, Becky, Lauren, Wes, Bethy (finally home from Charleston) and I all sat at a giant table together. I love eating with a big group!
I was dead tired on Sunday, but this weekend was worth losing sleep over.
