It's about 6 minutes until my 2nd (WOW!) wedding anniversary with the most wonderful woman in the world. I can't believe 2 years ago I was still a single guy. It seems like such a short time, and this has definitely been the greatest two-year period of my life.
As we close in on the Thanksgiving holiday, I have so many things to be thankful for. My wife, my family, my church, my job, my house...I could go on and on. We have truly been blessed. There is also some other wonderful news that I will talk about later. !?!?
This blog, which is my very first, is about one particular new addition to the household. He is young, hyper, sweet, energetic, smart, and...hairy. We brought Maverick home from the Humane Society a couple of weeks ago. Maverick is a 6-month old, black Chow mix. Already he has made his mark on the Page house, and he is our little buddy.
Maverick still has some learning and adapting to do, but he is a great pet. He is fun to walk, great to play with in the backyard, and very agreeable when it is time to go to bed. Casey says he snores too loud, but I've never heard him. As a definite non-snorer (yeah, that's the ticket), I will stick up for the little guy. On that note, I think I'll head upstairs, and all 3 of us will sleep soundly and quietly.
