Take Me Out....

This morning, we decided to treat ourselves to an actual breakfast that was not from Burger King. We went to a cute little 50's style diner in Union Square. After breakfast, we had a little time to kill, so we went to the Westfield Center. This is a massive, eight story shopping mall. The main attraction here is the spiral escalators. We enjoyed watching people go up and down these escalators for several minutes.
After our trip to the mall, it was time to see the Giants play! We hopped on a bus to AT&T Park. AT&T Park

We loved walking around the park before the game. It was really neat to watch all of the Oakland fans arrive by ferry. Even though the Giants lost, the game was pretty cool. Our seats looked out into McCovey Cove, and we got some sunshine for a few hours. Sadly, no one hit a home run there.

After the game, we hopped off the bus and walked through Union Square to our hotel. We rode the 30 story glass elevators to the top, and stopped on every floor on the way down.
We headed to Pier 39 for one last visit, picked up some treats for our family, and ate dinner at a seafood restaurant.
