Pages' Page: A Triple Shower Day

On Wednesday, Wes and I were spoiled with showers all day long. When my students and I walked into lunch, I noticed that giant balloons were tied onto my seat at our lunch table. A big orange box filled with books took up my place at the table. My class had surprised me with a lunchtime book shower! My room mother was there with a table full of brownies and punch. Two of my sweet coworkers, Jane and Michelle, had planned this shower for me. They collected children's books from my students and they even made a really sweet Clemson themed box to hold the books. After lunch, I looked through all of the books with my students and had them to write their names in the books that they brought. My favorite books were a picture Bible and some Spanish language books.

After school, the faculty had a shower for me and two other ladies who are expecting. It was just perfect! This was also a book shower, and we had beautiful giant baskets filled with books on the table. The other teachers served delicious cake and other goodies. The other pregnant lady and I (one lady had already had her baby) had a great time looking through all of our books! My teammates are so great to me. They worked so hard to give us the most fantastic shower!

After church that evening, Wes's choir friends gave us a Pampers shower. They had a sweetly decorated table with a cute cake and yummy cheese straws. We had a great time chatting with everyone, and it was exciting to have so many church friends together at once. It was nice for Wes to finally get to open up some gifts. We ended up with over 1,000 diapers! Everyone did a great job with their purchases, because we received diapers of all sizes. We also got a few other treats, and we received lots of wipes as well. We were so grateful that everyone did so much for us. We are so blessed to have such an amazing church family.
